Discover the fascinating world of wine through a unique experiential course, designed to stimulate all five senses. The Art of Wine is much more than a path to approaching tasting: it is a complete immersion in the world of winemaking, where sight, smell, taste, touch and even hearing become tools to understand and match wine in a conscious and creative way.

Structured in five meetings lasting approximately 1 hour and 30/45 minutes each, this course is designed for enthusiasts and the curious, eager to refine their perceptions and discover the perfect balance between wine, food and music.

Programme

1st Lesson – SIGHT

• Winemaking: red, white, rosé

• Visual examination: techniques and interpretation

• Grape varieties and colours: intensity and evolution in time

2nd Lesson – SMELL

• Aromatic and semi-aromatic grape varieties

• Olfactory examination: complexity and intensity

• Practical exercises and advice for developing the sense of smell

3rd Lesson – TASTE

• Taste-olfactory examination: flavours, balance, persistence

• Serving temperatures and the role of wood

• Taste pairings: theory and practice

4th Lesson – TOUCH

• Tactile sensations: softness, tannins, effervescence

• The taste balance in food-wine

• Introduction to food pairing according to touch

5th Lesson – HEARING / LIVE MUSIC EXPERIENCE

• Cross-modality: how music influences the perception of wine

• Listening and multi-sensory tasting exercises

• Possibility of replacing the lesson with a Live Music Experience event, where live music becomes the ideal sound seasoning for an evening of emotional and shared tasting

Each MI GIFT can be refunded or changed without charge, until the tour date is booked.

In case of change:

If the value of the new MI GIFT is higher than the previous one chosen, the difference must be paid

If the value of the new MI GIFT is lower than the previous one chosen, the difference will be refunded

Once the tour date is confirmed, changes are no longer possible

Once the tour date is confirmed, the following refund conditions apply:

Up to 20 days before the booked date: Full Refund*

From 19 days to the booked date: No Refund

*Any Access, Tickets, Fees and any other costs managed by external operators at MI EXPERIENCE cannot be refunded. The amount of such costs will be deducted from the refund amount, if due.

Special Refund Cases:

Bad weather, or other situations other than ordinary, unless there are cases of proven impossibility established by local authorities, do not constitute a reason for canceling the tour. MI EXPERIENCE may unilaterally and without any penalty, cancel or modify the tour where, at its sole discretion, there are real risks of safety in the performance of the tour: Full refund*
