An itinerary dedicated to modernity and design is what you will find in this new MI EXPERIENCE tour. 

This itinerary will take you to discover the surprising Porta Nuova district, a symbiosis between past and present, contemporary architecture and historic buildings with typical internal courtyards and “case di ringhiera”.

We will start from the Fondazione Feltrinelli, designed by Herzog & De Meuron, a sustainable building composed of two pyramids that houses an archive of over 200,000 volumes and 170,000 magazines, a space dedicated to both culture and social life.

We will continue to Corso Como, famous for its nightlife, with its 19th century buildings, the famous “case di ringhiera“, its internal courtyards, elegant and trendy restaurants and shops. A meeting place for “Milano Bene”. We will then discover the Muñoz + Albin Residences, a perfect fusion of history, tradition and contemporaneity.

We will then enter Piazza Gae Aulenti. Surrounded by the tallest buildings in Italy, the square leaves visitors speechless. The Unicredit Tower, designed by the famous Argentine architect Cesar Pelli, with its 231 meters of height, is the tallest skyscraper in Italy.

From the square we will admire the fascinating Bosco Verticale by Stefano Boeri, nicknamed "The Most Beautiful Skyscraper in the World". A tree house inhabited by men: two residential towers completely covered with greenery, trees and plants.

Finally we will reach Piazza Alvar Aalto, to enjoy a breathtaking architectural complex: the Torre Solaria, the tallest residential building in Italy, with the smaller Torri Solea and Aria, the so-called Residenze di Porta Nuova, the Diamantini and the Diamantone, as well as the famous Ristorante Berton, two Michelin stars, by chef Andrea Berton.

A unique tour, to discover a fascinating neighborhood of Milan with a double soul: home to prestigious offices during the day and the epicenter of the nightlife of night.
